Our theoretical research focuses on the physical properties of graphene, carbon nanotubes (CNT) and carbon nanocones (CNC). We are currently interesting in problems related to the electronic band structure of isolated semiconducting CNTs, hollow achiral CNCs and CNT ropes. We also investigate the electric properties of CNTs such as resistance and ballistic conductivity. Futhermore, we did some work in the field of quasiparticles in CNT such as phonons and particles of excitonic family. The last of our directions is consideration of the defect influence on the ideal nanotube properties. More, group's activity area includes development of the simulating and computation software.
